Description:
The Spectrum paint is easy to apply and only necessits little skills in automotive spraying.
The Spectrum is semi transparent and creates a spectacular Rainbow effect, without changing the undercoats color. It s possible to obtain different finishing, depending on the color of the undercoat.

Application guide:    
 
2 different application options: Glossy undercoat or scuffed with a fine Scoatch Brite.
We first need to choose a undercoat color in order to get the finish we desire (can be white, silver, black, chrome...) The undercoat must be very glossy and well hardened since 48h (2K paint or clearcoated paint) . Then scuff with scotch Brite sponge (to get a good adhesion).
2. Shake well right before using. Adjust a normal pressure (2-2.5bars) and apply very thin coats (3/6 coats) Bake 60-70 ° C for 20min if possible. Apply a clearcoat within 1hour
3. How to apply clear on the spectrum :
Spectrum should not be clearcoated as other paints, otherwise the rainbow effect will vanish. We must use the chrome paint clearcoating technic: The clearcoat technic is simple: Spray 4 to 5 micro flash coats (extremly thin) by waiting 1 to 2 minutes between each coat. The spectrum effect disappeard momentarily due to the "blurred fog effect". Then apply the clearcoat normally with 2 wet coats: The intense rainbow effect is revealed. Any kind of clearcoat can be used.
