PULSAR représents the highest chemical evolution today when talking about special effect coatings: The paint is reacting to temperature and displays different colors according to the temperature levels. The paint is highly reactive to temperature, and can be activated just by a tiny air stream.

This product is rare and formulated directly by StardustColors. It s destinated to automotive, industrial and design fields.
The PULSAR is a waterbased colorless intercoat which must be applied exclusively over black basecaot and varnished with its UV 1K clearcoat : Then it may be clearcoated with any conventionnal clearcoat or waterbased topcoat (recommended)
The PULSAR is highly concentrate : A few thin coats are enough to create a powerful effect immediatly visible. 1 Quart (Liter) of product is enough for an overall paint job on a car.
The PULSAR is 100% waterbased and can be shipped by air to all destinations in the world.

Application |
Basecoat : Apply the black basecoat. Sand it and let it rest for 48h to allow all solvents to evaporate.
PULSAR : apply a sufficient amount of coats (4-6) and allow as much as possible drying between each coat. Let dry 24h minimum. Do not sand.
Clearcoat: Any clearcoat can be applied: But it s obligatory to first apply our stabilizer (waterbased) to protect and isolate the Pulsar from the clearcoats solvents. Apply a few light coats then let fully dry. Then apply any conventionnal automotive clearcoat. |

Life time |
Long outoors exposition is not recommended. To increase the life time of the Pulsar and protect it from sunrays, use our special anti UV clearcoat (see clears category).
Longevity: Life time of paint are estimatedto be within 3 to 10 years. The paint can shift of color 10 000times. Thermochromic/photochromic paints are not recommanded for extendedoutdoors exposition, due to their low UV resistance. |
