Photochromic
- Waterbased paint, new formula This very special paint shifts from colorless to colored/opaque when exposed to natural light or UV light.The color shift effect appears in just a few seconds: The more light the paint is absorbing, the more the paint shift into an intense color. (See the movie below)
Composition : 1k Waterbased acrylic paint with micro encapsulated light sensible components.
Use : Spraygun , airbrush.
Application : with a 3 to 5 thin coats over white or light color undercoat. Do not use an anti UV clearcoat or an auto clearcoat.
Colors combinations: The paint is semi transparent :
Over white basecoat , the orange will shift from white to orange.
Over light blue basecoat , the red will shift from blue to violet
Over yellow basecoat , the blue will shift from yellow to green.
Lifetime and resistance: The paint has a short life time: It can shift of colors more than 100 times before the reaction vanishes. The paint is not intended and suitable for extended outdoors exposition due to its high sensitivity to sun. Exposed to sun, the lift time is 24 to 48h only
